Discover BERI
The Biodiversity Education Research Initiative (BERI) stands as an autonomous non-profit organization founded by Thema Collection. Our primary objective is the preservation of Sri Lanka's rich biodiversity through extensive research, fostering awareness, and forging collaborations. Our mission extends beyond safeguarding the nation's ecological heritage; we are dedicated to addressing the pressing social and environmental challenges stemming from the rapid loss of biodiversity in Sri Lanka. Moreover, BERI is committed to tackling broader sustainability issues. We achieve this by providing a platform for insightful discussions and collaborative efforts on various topics related to sustainability. Through these initiatives, we aim to create a positive impact, not only on Sri Lanka's natural landscapes but also on the global conversation surrounding biodiversity and sustainability.
